2021 Symphony

2021 Symphony

A unique style of wine to Vancouver Island, Symphony is ripe and surprisingly full bodied considering our mild climate. Wild berries, currants, dried tobacco and notes of coastal forests on the nose give way to structured tannins, cherries and exotic spices on the palate. Symphony is a blend of Cabernet Libre, Labelle, Corivese and Petit Milo.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of cherry and herb notes on the nose, followed by flavours of spice, espresso and vanilla on the palate. It's brisk and structured and lends itself well with food.
Vineyard Notes
The fruit for this wine comes from, Unsworth Vineyard and Wescott Vineyard.
Production Notes
Symphony is a unique blend of Cabernet Libre providing structure, Labelle which adds ripe blue fruit flavours, Corivese adding tannin and dark red fruit. These are all unique varieties to Vancouver Island and we are amongst a small handful of growers to work with these varieties.
Food Pairing Notes
Symphony is great with barbequed game meats, or seared duck breast with mushrooms and beets.
